Nudibranquio Berghia coerulescens Berghia coerulescens nudibranch

I had the great good luck yesterday to come across another specimen of this tiny (1/5" in length) nudibranch, Berghia coerulescens.   My dive partner, Juan Sanchez, and I went to a site we hadn´t visited in a few years, and we were fortunate in finding this critter. You can see the very pronounced rhinophores, and another pair of apparent rhinophores, whose shape and function I do not know.  So small, yet very developed in its anatomy.  The depth was approximately 45 feet, and the water temp was 62ºF.

Tuve la gran suerte ayer de encontrar otro ejemplar de este diminuto (5 mm de largo) nudibranquio, Berghia coerulescens.  Mi compañero de buceo, Juan Sánchez, y yo fuimos a un sitio que no habíamos visitado en unos años, y tuvimos suerte al encontrar este bicho.  Se puede ver los muy obvios rinóforos, y otra pareja de rinóforos aparentes, cuya forma y función desconozco.  Tan pequeño, pero muy complejo en su anatomía a la vez.  La profundidad era de unos 14 metros, y la temperatura del agua de unos 17ºC.
