"Moma" (Blennyfish)

This is one of the many species of blennyfish on the Costa Brava of NE Spain.  They are great posers, basically living without really swimming.  They "sit" all day.  Quite small, not exceeding 4", they stand their ground until you get too close.  Then, they quickly move off, but not too far.

Esta especie de moma es una de muchas aquí en la Costa Brava, en el NE de España.  Son unos modelos buenísimos porque, básicamente, pasan su vida sin nadar mucho.  Se posan todo el día.  Bastante pequeños, menos de 10cm, te desafían hasta te acerques demasiado.  Entonces, se desplazan rápidamente, pero no demasiado lejos.
