Bispira volutacornis

This beautiful pair of Bispira volutacornis, a type of tubeworm, was in a fairly deep crevice, but it was worth the manuevering to get this shot.  This species is very skittish, and will retract at lightning speed if it detects any excessive light or movement.  Small, usually less than 3cm-4cm across, its filament-like segments capture its food, guiding it to its mouth, which is located in the center of the "flower".
