Prostherceraeus roseus and Sphaerococcus coronopifolius

A more elegant photo I couldn't have taken.  I was on the seaward side of a small island very close to the shore, less than 8 meters down, when I saw this beautiful planaria gliding through a patch of what we call red algae (its Latin name is above).  This planaria doesn't exceed 3 cm in length, and normally is in the 2cm range.  Click on the zoom-in to fully appreciate its beauty.  It "head" is on the left, characterized by its rhinophore-like protuberances.  A beautiful animal.
