Nudibranquio Peltodoris atromaculata (Peltodoris atromaculata nudibranch)

Here are two Peltodoris atromaculata nudibranchs, called Swiss Cows, and if you look very carefully in the second photograph, you´ll see a Th. hopei nudibranch.  Too bad I didn´t see it when I was photographing the P. atromaculata!  I´d have gotten a couple of nice close-ups of it too.  The beauty of the second one is that you can clearly see its rhinophores fully extended, whereas in the first one they are "normally" extended.  These photos were taken at a dive site on the Costa Brava, at a depth of 100 feet.

Aquí hay dos nudibranquios Peltodoris atromaculata y, si miras cuidadosamente en la segunda foto, verás un nudibranquio Th. hopei.  ¡Lástima que no lo vi cuando fotografiaba la Vaquita Suiza!  Habría sacado un par de buenas macros.  La belleza de la segunda foto es que se puede ver muy claramente sus rinóforos totalmente extendidos, mientras en la primera foto están extendidos "normalmente".  Se sacaron estas fotos en un sitio de inmersión en la Costa Brava, a una profundidad de 30 metros.
