Nudibranquio Flabellina avensis, con puesta de huevos (Flabellina avensis nudibranch, with eggs)

I photographed this Flabellina avensis nudibranch as it was laying its eggs, which are just above it and to its left.  Juan and I found several species on branches of various vegetation, and I suspect it was for the same reason:  laying eggs to insure their continuity.  The water was 11ºC (51.8ºF).  This was our last dive of 2013, done on 31.12.13.  The second photo was taken in the same place, but on Jan. 1st, in my first dive of 2014.  If you look closely, you can see its eggs at the very top of the highest branch.

Fotografié este nudibranquio, Flabellina avensis, mientras ponía huevos, que están justo encima y a la izquierda de él en la foto.  Juan y yo encontramos varias especies subidas a ramas de marías plantas, y sospecho que fue por la misma razón:  poner sus huevos para asegurar su continuidad.  El agua estaba a 11ºC.  Esta fue nuestra última inmersión de 2013, hecha el 31.12.13.  La segunda foto se hizo en el mismo lugar, pero el 1º de enero de 2014.  Si miráis bien, podréis ver sus huevos en la rama más alta.
