Brown Sea Scorpion, close-up (Scorpaena porcus)

Here´s a close up of the brown sea scorpion.  Large eyes, pronounced jaw and lightning-quick reflexes make it a more than competent predator.  Luckily, I´m too big for it!  It is a bentonic animal, as all members of this family are.
