Thuridilla hopei

This small nudibranch, rarely exceeding 2.5 cm in length, is quite frequent in certain areas along the Costa Brava.  Its rhinophores are unusually long and its body is usually protected by its body-length "wings" or flaps, here drawn up enclosing its back.  If you zoom in, you´ll see its vivid blue and yellow coloring with white dots.  A very beautiful little critter.
